Amazon Sellers
Amazon is a great place to sell your products. They say "a picture is worth a thousand words" and on Amazon the first impression a customer gets of your product is through your product images. It's important to have great looking images that sell your great products. But Amazon doesn't always make it easy. They have comprehensive guidelines of what types of images can be used, how they should look, not to mention their technical requirements for images to work on their site. Take the headache out of photographing your products by choosing an Amazon Sellers image pack from us.
Our Amazon Sellers image packs consist of a number of images of your products which can be tailored to the product and to your advertising needs. All our packs are compatible with Amazon's product image requirements, technical image file requirements, their product package image policy and product page style guidelines. And our Amazon Sellers Pack is also ideal if you are selling in volume on Ebay and other e-commerce sites.
Here are the types of images we would typically include in an Amazon Sellers Pack...
The Main Product Shot
The HERO shot. This is the one that gets you noticed. Not only is this the first image in your product listing, it is also the image that appears in searches, wish lists and order history. It's the first thing your customer will see and needs to stand out from the crowd to get them to click through and buy.
Amazon has very specific rules for this shot so it has to be right or they may reject it. It must be "a professional photograph of the actual product" and "must have a pure white background". The rules cover what the image should look like, what should be included and importantly, what should not.
Product Views
Additional product shots show your product in different ways to give your customer the best impression of what you are offering. Amazon's guidelines for these shots are less strict than for the main image but it is common practice to use a white background for the best clarity. Product views might show any included accessories, or show the product in different configurations. They might show different colour variations or styles. The choice is yours to best display and sell your product.
Close-Up Details
Details matter. Close-up shots can be used to show important details that may not be clear in the general product shots. They might be used to highlight particular features or functions, or to show how the product is made. They can also be used to convey the quality of the product such as the stitching on a garment or the exquisite detail in a piece of jewellery.
Infographics
Infographics consist of an image of the product with key information added. This saves the buyer having to trawl through the product description and can lead to quicker buying decisions. You might decide to include things such as the product dimensions, or text highlighting key features. You can include anything you think is important to your customer.
The Real-World Shot
A real-world or lifestyle shot shows the product in context and connects with the customer's feelings about the product and what they imagine having it will be like. It might show the product in a more realistic setting or being used in real life. It might show the product with other relevant items to give an idea of scale or function. This is the shot that connects the product to the customer.
